Federer is US Open 2008 Champion

OMG! Roger Federer just won US Open 2008 for the fifth consecutive year. Wow, he made the history too as the first man who won both Wimbledon and US Open for 5 consecutive years. Well, although not on the same year. He did not win Wimbledon this year. Federer played really well today against Murray with impressive score of 6-2, 7-5, 6-2.

In the third set, Federer was leading Murray by 5-0 but then Murray caught up till 2-5. That was when it got very interesting for me because Federer was already at championship point twice at advantage against Murray. Federer had the first championship point at advantage but then Murray fought back and they were at deuce again. That was one of the reason I hate deuce. You had to watch the score go back between advantage and deuce again. It could last for a very long time. Luckily, this was not the case. Federer got the advantage again and hence the championship point for the second time. There was quite a rally and Murray’s shot hit the net and Federer WON the US Open 2008. OMG! I was so happy at that time.

At last Federer won one grand slam this year after finishing in semi-final in Australian Open and runner-ups in both French Open and Wimbledon. Oh, the prize money was interesting. Murray won U$750.00 plus extra U$250.000 for winning in second place in the tournament series, so he won a total of U$1 million. Federer won the prize money of U$1.5 million plus the Lexus car. Man, I wonder how many cars he won from the grand slams.

All in all, Federer played really great and it was so impressive for me and everybody else too. But then now, I’ve got to shower now and go back to work. So post more things later…

My Exploding Head

Gosh! My head is kinda exploding, feels very heavy rite now. I am supposed to sleep more but cannot coz I’ve got many things to do. I have to go to the market to do my grocery shopping then have my lunch and then the most important thing is going to work. I hope I can concentrate on my work and do it in focus and fast so I can go home and have tiny bit of sleep which I know I won’t do it. At that time, I will be watching Dr Who (whoo hoo). I never miss an episode of this new season of Dr Who. It is too good to be missed. Sometimes when my friend asked me to hang out at this time, I often declined it simply coz I have to watch Dr Who.

Ok, on to the tennis match last night, in my case early morning, I’ve missed the last match between Federer vs Djokovic. By the time I woke up, Nadal is already playing against Murray. So after that, I quickly went to sleep and had only about 6 hours worth of good sleep. That wasn’t good enough time for me. I usually slept about 9-10 hours, I know I am very much a sleepy head.

Anyway, I checked the tennis score at yahoo site. Hoho, Federer won after 4 sets and the score is 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, 6-2. Impressive! I am so happy coz I’m very much looking to the final match. And adding to the great news, the final match will be played on Monday at 5 pm in US, in my case probably about Tuesday morning and that’s good coz I start work late that day. Whoo hoo, I’m so happy coz I finally get to watch the final match that before I thought I could not (I was so gloomy when I’ve found out I could not watch it).

Well… That is my highlight of the day but now I still have my exploding head which I have to endure throughout the day Ok then, back to my real world and enjoy it…

My First Blog

Hey this is my first blog… Somehow feeling kind of excited but I dunno what to write yet. I am currently watching the mummy II and also US Open at the same time. Kind of crazy flicking the remote. I don’t think I will sleep tonite though even though I have to work tomorrow, ooops! I can’t miss this tennis match, Federer vs Djokovic. It looks to be a good match indeed or not maybe, have to watch ’till the end. But right now my head feels kinda like almost exploding at any moment ha2. Oh, the mummy II is finishing soon, better watch it now and then watch tennis again and see what time I am gonna go to sleep later. I am sooo gonna be not concentrating at work tomorrow.
