I am hooked on to the newest single of Yuna Ito, titled “Trust You”. It is really a good ballad song, better than “Miss You”. How come all the titles of the songs are almost the same… Hmmm… But I like mostly when Yuna Ito sings ballad songs, sounds much better than the uptempo cheerful songs which she has sung before, like “Urban Mermaid”, with the exception of “Koi wa Groovyx2″. I am such a sucker for ballad songs, ha3! I have never watched the music clip of “Trust You” before till today. Once I saw the music clip, I quickly listened to the song over and over again. I even updated my music playlist on my mobile phone. I really recommend this song for any Yuna Ito fans and even anyone else who really likes listening to ballad JPop songs (it’s not too ballad-y song) or anyone who likes listening to really nice melodic songs. This song is also used as the second ending song of Gundam OO. Here is the music clip of “Trust You” from youtube:
It has been so long since I’ve posted anything, about one week I guess. Firstly, coz my computer’s been broken again and secondly, coz I’ve been a little bit lazy and thirdly, my head’s been hurting the past two days but I feel whole lot better now. Well… except for my throat which is kinda swelling right now. I’ve bought a packet of Butter Menthol yesterday as recommended by my brother. Already eaten a few but did not feel that my throat is getting better, let’s wait and see another day then…
Lately, I got addicted to this newest single by Yuna Ito titled miss you. Even my friend who never listens to JPop music likes it when she first listened to the song. Actually I recommended it to her because I cannot seem to stop listening to it. You could even say I’m crazy coz I’ve been listening to it everyday khikhi…
This song is a really catchy ballad suitable for summer. I think the story of the song is about a girl who remembers the memory of being with her boyfriend during last summer before they broke up. Some of the translation of the lyrics mentioned the couple broke up because they want to continue their dreams for their futures. Both of them decided to break up because of the long distance relationship they have had.Every time the girl thinks about her ex-boyfriend, she wants to meet him and to fall in love all over again. She still remembers that day with the blue sea and unlimited sky. Even now that never changing memory will be forever cherished in her heart.
That is some of the translations I’ve got from reading the japanese lyrics. Here are the japanese lyrics:
miss you by Yuna Ito
Lyrics and music by Maika Shiratori
Stay here 夏の光が
二人過ごした 季節を告げる頃
I’m staying here 眩しいくらいに
君の笑顔を思い出していた
